New Swedish patent to accelerate the expansion of public street charging!
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Swedish patent SE 2350103-4 was published, see PRV's database
The patent aims to reduce costs, reduce implementation time and reduce greenhouse gas emissions when expanding public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in cities, so-called street charging.
The background is that climate change due to greenhouse gases means that the EU will ban the sale of new gasoline and diesel cars from 2035. Electric vehicles reduce greenhouse gas emissions, CO2. Home charging at night is in practice a "prerequisite" for owning an electric vehicle. Owners of electric vehicles in cities without their own parking space need public street charging.
The problem is that the ground work needed to supply charging stations with electricity is costly, time-consuming, risky and emits greenhouse gases.
The solution is to replace existing concrete slabs between the power source and the charging post with our patented modules. The electrical cables are placed inside the hollow modules and are protected from damage.
